‘Gerald’s Game’ Is A #MeToo Horror Movie That Doesn’t Pull Any Punches [Podcast]

Our guest, Courtney Enlow (of Syfy Fangrrls, Pajiba, and more) brought a movie for discussion that was far tougher than either of us realized. Gerald’s Game seems like it’s going to be a straight thriller movie about a woman (Carla Gugino), who is trapped in handcuffs after her husband (Bruce Greenwood), dies during a sex game. What neither of us could have expected was that the movie would explore sexual violence, trauma, and the monsters who perpetrate them.
